This year, Christiansburg Institute, Inc. (CI, Inc.) celebrates the transformative power of education and the 100 year legacy of the historic Christiansburg Industrial Institute (CII) at our 2nd annual Black and Gold Gala fundraiser event, scheduled for Friday, December 6th, 2024, from 6 PM - 9 PM ET, at the lovely Radford Coffee House Co. in Radford, Virginia.

Black and Gold Gala 2024: The Transformative Power of Education


Join us for the our annual gala fundraiser at the charming Radford Coffee Co. in Radford, Virginia from 6pm-9pm ET.

The dress code is semi-formal, with black tie optional. Guests are invited to arrive at 5:30 PM ET to socialize and enjoy light refreshments, including lemonade, tea, water and coffee, along with a cash bar.

  • Guests will enjoy a carefully curated and delicious meal from HazelBea Catering.

  • We are excited to present the talented McFadden and Friends, who will provide live music to enhance the evening's vibrant atmosphere. Our dedicated team will showcase a presentation on the Christiansburg Institute Digital Archives and our silent auction features unique items and experiences from local businesses.

  • In early November, we will announce our keynote speaker, a distinguished educator and community leader in Southwest Virginia, renowned for their lifelong commitment to youth empowerment.
